Named after the first emperor, regarded as a paragon of war and believed to have been capable of striking down any foe who stood before him before they could fire a shot, the Teraanus takes after its namesake. Capable of piercing even light armoured vehicles, the XR-VIII is deadly accurate even at extreme range, as are those who wield it. Selected after years and even decades of marksman experience, the soldiers given the honour of wielding a Teraanus are deadly on the battlefield, harassing patrols, disabling vehicles and convoys and eliminating officers and other VIPs. Of all the weapons their enemy fear, the Teraanus is one of the most, as by the time a soldier hears the shot, they or one of their friends are usually dead.
